Head over to AEMMP Records’ Day Party on Saturday, March 20, 2010 for free food from Texas Roadhouse and drinks from Metromint. The party starts at 12 Noon and continues till 5PM at District 301 (301 West 6th. St.) so get there early. This day party is open to everyone and does not need an RSVP. Enjoy the great music. ;D

The Eastbound & Found showcase presented by ZiegenBock Amber, Dos Lunas Tequila, and Sweet Leaf Tea will be taking place on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 12 Noon to 9PM at 1001 East 6th St. Not only do they have a killer line-up but they’ll have two bars, and food available, including screen printing by Southside Sanctuary and a photobooth by GreenShoeLace.com. The Skip Intro Party will take place on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 8PM to 11PM at Cedar Street (208 West 4th. St.). It’s being sponsored by Vitamin Water and Pop Chips, so there definitely will be FREE noms there. This however is only limited to th ose with SXSWi badges. No RSVP required, so just show up! This party is being hosted by FourSquare, Brizzly, Katalyst, Dailybooth, Citizennet, DogPatch Labs, Mobile Roadie, and Stickybits. I’m sure Ashton (@aplusk) will most likely make an appearance!

For some reason I thought I had posted this already but looks like I never got around to it. The buzzd, nearverse and Xtreme Labs present The Boxer Rebellion at The Phoenix (409 Colorado St.) on Saturday, March 13, 2010 starting at 8:30PM. Vitamin Water is one of the sponsors and it’s FREE to RSVP. Of course, there is also an OPEN BAR. There is one requirement since their guest list is packed. Is it weird that as I am posting about this show Google Chrome crashes on me? Are the BROWSER gods telling me something?! Anyways, the Mozilla SXSW Happy Hour Party will be taking place on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 6PM to 8PM at Cedar Door (201 Brazos St.). Shangri-La has definitely become my favorite bar in Austin so far, so I’m definitely planning to be there and so should you! On Sunday, March 14, 2010 MapQuest will be running buses for 150 lucky South By Southwest GOLD or PLATINUM badgeholder’s to The Salt Lick BBQ starting at 5:30PM at the Hilton Austin (500 E. 4th St.). Just look for the MapQuest buses and you’re good to go! Beer will be provided on the bus and at the actual BBQ. Note that the BBQ is in Driftwood, TC so plan to come back later.
