Foodspotting’s Guide to SXSW 2010 - FREE Noms Guide Included!
Foodspotting (think Foursquare, Gowalla, and Flickr love triangle) has put together their guide on all the food you can consume at South By Southwest 2010. You can contribute to the What To Eat at SXSW 2010 guide for all of your fellow foodies. So head here to check it out.
About Foodspotting
Foodspotters earn recognition for sharing foods they love enabling foodseekers to find whatever they’re craving and see what’s good wherever they go.
Foodspotting is a visual local guide that lets you find dishes instead of just restaurants. It’s powered by Foodspotters, who can share their food photos and expertise while building a rich collection of foods and where to find them.
I’ll be contributing with my own FREE guide thanks to Foodspotting. As I find all the free food and drinks at all the SXSW parties and showcases this year, not only will I be posting them here, via @SXSWFreeNoms on Twitter, but I will be adding them to the guide too. The best part about Foodspotting’s guides is you can see all the locations on a map, along with a list of the other events on the same page. But even better than that is that you can add your own photos of the food you eat at each party. Let me know what you think!
You can also download the Foodspotting app for the iPhone. Currently you can’t add to guides via the app but Foodspotting has confirmed that they are working on possibly having the app updated by SXSW 2010. Can you imagine having the list of all the freenoms and drinks in an app ready to go? Crossing my fingers it’s ready by then!
Thanks to @Foodspotting for featuring my guide. Make sure to follow them on Twitter!
